Overview

  The Guanshentai Automatic Gate-Cutting Machine for Injection-Molded Parts is specialized equipment designed for the automatic removal and separation of gates (runners/sprues) from injection-molded products. Utilizing a pneumatic or servo-driven punching system combined with precision tooling and a conveyor-based positioning mechanism, the machine employs either cold or hot cutting methods to precisely separate the molded part from the runner scrap. It also performs flash trimming and partial assembly tasks. With an operating speed of 600–1,200 pieces per hour, it effectively replaces traditional manual cutting operations.

  Precision Cutting: Features high-hardness, premium mold-steel cutting heads paired with precision guide mechanisms. The cut surface is smooth and flat—free of burrs, stringing, or fracturing—with a cutting accuracy of ±0.05mm, effectively preserving the product's aesthetic integrity.

  Flexible Adaptability: Supports both cold and hot cutting modes. Customized cutting solutions are provided based on material properties (ABS, PC, PA, PP, POM, PMMA, etc.) and gate locations (side, pin-point, submarine/tunnel, or fan gates), allowing a single machine to handle various types of injection-molded parts.

  Scratch-Prevention Design: The inner walls of the product positioning fixtures and the clamping mechanisms are lined with urethane or silicone cushioning layers. This ensures stable positioning while preventing secondary damage—such as pinch marks or scratches—to the part's surface during the cutting process.

  Automatic Scrap Discharge: Equipped with independent waste collection channels and a vibration-assisted discharge device. Runner remnants and debris are automatically separated and ejected, ensuring complete isolation of finished parts from waste and reducing manual sorting time.

  In-line Inspection and Rejection: Integrates a post-cutting inspection module (based on mechanical gauging and optical comparison principles) to automatically detect residual gate height and surface defects. Defective parts are automatically blown off the line, ensuring high product yield.

  Cleanliness and Safety: The fully enclosed cutting area features a transparent protective shield to effectively contain cutting dust and debris. It is also equipped with dual-start buttons and an emergency stop mechanism, complying with industrial safety standards.

  User-Friendly Operation: Equipped with a PLC and a touchscreen HMI, the system allows for one-touch configuration of parameters—such as cutting pressure, stroke, speed, and temperature (for thermal cutting modes)—and supports the saving of multiple product recipes for rapid switching during production changes.
